Currently Chief of Staff of Tour Guides at Maine Military Museum and Learning Center.

Born 1922 in South Portland, Maine

US Army – 1940 to 1945 from Omaha Beach at Normandy, to Germany, to Belgium, and on into Czechoslovakia at war’s end

V.P. at Merrill Transport for 29 years
Currently Chief Archivist at Maine Military Museum and Learning Center.

CPO Wesley O. Cressey

Born in Portland, Maine on December 24^th,1928
U.S. Navy 1949 to 1968 retiring as a Chief
Became a Chief while serving on the USS Yorktown CVS – 10 in 1966
Worked for Coca Cola and retired from them in 1991
Currently a Maine Military Museum volunteer & tour guide.

S/Sgt James E. Foley

Born December 23, 1940 in Portland, Maine
U.S. Army & Maine Army National Guard – 24 years service
101st Airborne Division & 5^th Mechanized Infantry Division
Vietnam War – two tours
Owner – Green & Gold Tavern
First Tour Guide & major contributor to the museum.
