Flight suit for Cdr. Porter Halyburton, USN. He made many flights to Hanoi and Haiphong before he was shot down. It came home with his personal effects as he was wearing Marine fatigues at the time. He was a POW from 10-17-65 to 02-12-73.
B-52 High Altitude flight suit – Capt. Paul Granger, USAF who was shot down during the Hanoi ”Christmas Raids”. He was a POW from 12-20-72 to 03-29-73.
MoMM 2/C Robert Maclellan, USN. He drove landing barges onto Utah beach at Normandy on H-Hour June 6, 1944 and then went to the Philippines and Okinawa for beach landings there. The patch on his left shoulder represents US Navy assault boat drivers and crews.

Six year old Bobbie Hinshaw wearing the original WW II sweater on which his grandmother sewed patches given to him by soldiers and Marines on the troop trains from California to Kansas in 1942. He is with Capt. Everett King of the 44th Infantry Division and Sgt Arthur Mills of the 464th Bomb Group who was a POW in Germany.

Complete USAF fighter pilot’s flight suit, circa 1964, with old style helmet bag, flight helmet and parachute. WW II survival vest was still being used by pilots and is complete with colt .45 and survival items in the appropriate pocket pouches.
